Ghost Ship Exhibition

I managed the delivery of a temporary exhibition for the National Trust at Sutton Hoo, exploring the famous Mound 1 ship burial and helping visitors discover more about one of Britain’s most significant archaeological finds.

Working with Ugly Studios, I coordinated the project from concept development through to delivery, ensuring the exhibition design, interpretation and visitor journey worked together to create an engaging and memorable experience.

The completed exhibition centred around a scale replica of the M1 ship, supported by evocative interpretive panels that explored its maritime context and spiritual significance.

Through carefully considered storytelling, imagery and design, the exhibition brought Sutton Hoo’s history to life for visitors while supporting the National Trust’s ambition to inspire curiosity and encourage deeper engagement with the site’s heritage.
