St Nicholas’ Chapel
I managed the delivery of an ambitious interpretation project for the Churches Conservation Trust, transforming the visitor experience at a historic chapel following a major restoration programme.
Working with Ugly Studios and the CCT’s Interpretation Working Group, I coordinated the development of a wide range of interpretive materials, ensuring the creative approach complemented the chapel’s architecture while making its history accessible and engaging for visitors.

The completed project combined physical and digital experiences, including interactive displays, illustrated trails, touchscreen content, animated timelines, games and bespoke visitor activities.
From mirror carts designed to reveal the chapel’s spectacular angel roof to a Consistory Court game exploring historical crimes, the interpretation encouraged visitors to actively engage with the building’s stories and created a memorable experience for a diverse audience.
