World War Two Trails
I managed the delivery of a series of World War II heritage interpretation trails for Essex County Council, designed to increase public engagement with the county’s historic landscapes.
Working with Ugly Studios, I coordinated the project from interpretive planning through to installation, ensuring the content, design and visitor experience worked together to create accessible and engaging outdoor exhibits.

The completed project delivered durable interpretive boards across six heritage trails, combining historical photography, maps, documents and illustrations to bring local stories to life.
The experience was enhanced with a specially designed “Secret Spy Code” activity, encouraging families and visitors to explore further and unlock additional content through a touchscreen installation at Chelmsford Museum.
